In 1983, Whistler built its first golf course designed by Arnold Palmer, The Whistler Golf Club. A few years later, Whistler received three more golf courses - all championship designed and award winning, including Nicklaus North (right) - designed by the Golden Bear himself. Whistler's golf courses built around mountain peaks, fresh air and spectacular scenery are now considered some of the best courses in the game of golf.
